Shopping in our online gallery with us is a lot like shopping at a retail art gallery. You can browse the photographs you would like to purchase, put them in a shopping cart, and complete your purchase at the check-out area. The only difference is, we're open 24 hours a day - seven days a week and you don't have to put your shoes on and leave the comfort of your home to shop!

So read on and find out how you can enjoy your shopping experience.

The first thing to do is browse our shop for the items you would like. As you browse and click on an item you will see the 'Add to Cart' link. Once you have found the first item you would like, simply add it to your online shopping basket by clicking on the 'Add to Cart' link.

Just like in a retail store, the shopping cart is a holding place for your items until you are ready to purchase them. You can view the contents of your basket at any time by clicking on the 'View Cart' link on your shopping page. Quantities can be altered and removed from here. If you later decide the item is not required you can always remove items from your shopping cart by clicking on the 'Remove' link at the right side of the product list.

Once you have decided upon your selection of an image the first option is to select a print size.  The default price is for the image printed on A4 paper and options may be available for A3 and A3+ paper.  Larger sizes ay be available on request.  If you have a particular size requirement we suggest that you contact us before placing your order to discuss your needs.

The print size relates to the size of the paper. The image, with borders on all four sides, will be aesthetically fit to the canvas size. The borders allow for easy matting.

Once you have selected a print size the next option is to decide whether or not you wish to have your print framed. If you select Yes, the available frame types will appear as a drop down list.  Please choose your preferred finish.

Unmounted images will simply be framed whereas mounted images will be set in an appropriately coloured mount before framing.  As a result mounted and framed images will be larger than unmounted framed images.

Other finishes such as canvas wraps, box frames and a range of acrylic are available on request.  Please contact us to discuss your needs.

Step 4.  Choosing Options Three - Hanging

In addition, you may select fixings for your framed print.  If you select hooks your frame will be supplied strung and with suitable fixings ready to hang.  If you select plates your frame will be supplied with metal plates so that it may be fixed directly to the wall.

Step 5.  Proceed to the Checkout

Once you have decided upon your selections and checked your shopping cart, simply proceed to the Ordering Stage by clicking "Check Out". At this point you must Login to your account or register as a new user. Registration means that you don't need to complete your details again if you order from us in the future. This action takes you to a page where we need some extra details to complete the order. Your personal information will be saved for future use, your name and address and where we can deliver the goods. No financial information is held by us.

 Step 6. Submit your Order

At this point you must select your preferred Shipping Method and Payment Gateway.

PayPal - You will be redirected to the Secure PayPal page which allows you to pay securely online with your credit card. When your payment transaction is complete your goods will be delivered.

Google Checkout - You will be redirected to the Secure Google Checkout page which allows you to pay securely online with your credit card. When your payment transaction is complete your goods will be delivered.

Alternatively, whilst viewing your Shopping Cart you can print it out by clicking on File then Print in your browser or press CTRL & P then Print and send it to us at Scottie47 Photography, 47 Lady Nairn Avenue, Kirkcaldy, Fife KY1 2AW together with a cheque made payable to "Peter Scott".
